Low ceilings and improper roof drainage were big problems
for these homeowners. They needed major repairs to the roof area and
wanted higher ceilings. But, with a flat roof the possibilities were
limited.
SOLUTION - Our solution was to raise the roof. Not only
did this solve the low ceiling problem, but created an improved drainage
system for the exterior roof. The new roof lines were well-balanced
and tied the house together. No square footage was added, yet the
remodeling created a more spacious and open look in the family room.
Very contemporary, complete with a ceramic fireplace, two window seats and
accent lighting. This project also included converting the home into
a three bedroom without adding square footage. The third bedroom was
to make room for their new baby who was born one week after the jobs
completion.
